Housing Sale Statistics - June 2022

According to the new housing sale statistics revealed, foreigners bought 8 thousand 630 properties in June.

Comparing June housing sale statistics to the same month in the previous year, house sales in Turkey increased by 81.8%. In June housing sales to foreigners had a 5.7% share. With 3 thousand 906 sales, Istanbul became first on the list. Antalya followed Istanbul with 2 thousand 534 home sales. Furthermore, foreigners bought 428 houses from Mersin which made the region third on the list.

When compared between nationalities the properties were mostly bought by Russian citizens. They bought a thousand 887 houses from Turkey in total. They were followed by the citizens of Iran with 987 house sales. Moreover, Iraq citizens bought 807 houses and became third on the list.
